It has emerged that Barcelona's fiercest rival, Real Madrid, have made genuine attempts to sign Barca star Lionel Messi in the last 5 years.
Messi has won every competition Barcelona have entered in since his debut and it appears Real Madrid have dreamtof the dimunitive Argentine wearing that famous all white strip.
The 1st time was in 2011 when it seemed Manchester City would go all out to try and sign Cristiano Ronaldo. In 2013, again when Cristiano Ronaldo was feeling reluctant to sign a new contract, Los Blancos tried again but failed.
Finally last year 2015, Maidrid executives were frustrated by Barca's dominance so decided to try and price away Messi for a 3rd time,however,it was also turned down.
