Experts believe that smarter people have better ‘impulse control’,
so are more likely to weigh up the consequences of spontaneous hook-ups.
Are you having less sex than you would have liked?
Are you are intelligent person? Research have now shown that both can be
linked.
A recent study has shown that people with higher IQs tend to have less sex.
The study, led by sociologist Rosemary Hopcroft from the University of North Carolina, argues that: “Intelligence is negatively associated with sex frequency.”
Although intelligent people are believed to have less
random casual sex, researchers don't believe that this is a result of
having a low sexual libido.
Statistically, people with higher IQs tend to lose their virginity at a later stage in their life than their peers.
The 2011 National Survey of Family Growth claims: “Men
with college degrees are half as likely to have had four or more
partners in the last year as men with a high school education alone.”
Experts
believe that those who dedicate a large portion of their time to
studying are less likely to engage with lots of sexual partners.
